Frequently Asked Questions

To create a new note, simply tap the "+" button located in the bottom right corner of the main screen. This will open a blank note where you can immediately start typing.

To delete a note, open the note you wish to delete, then tap the menu icon (three dots) in the top right corner and select "Delete". Alternatively, from the notes list, you can swipe left on any note and tap the delete button that appears.

To search through your notes, tap the search icon located at the top of the main screen. Type in your search query, and NoteChat will instantly filter and display all notes that contain your search terms.

To enable dark mode, go to Settings by tapping the gear icon in the top left corner of the main screen. Under "Appearance", toggle the "Dark Mode" switch to on. You can also choose "System Default" to automatically follow your device's dark/light mode settings.

NoteChat stores all your notes locally on your device. We don't automatically back up your notes to any cloud service. We recommend regularly exporting your important notes or using your device's built-in backup functionality to prevent data loss.

If you uninstall NoteChat, all your notes stored within the app will be deleted from your device. Make sure to export any important notes before uninstalling the app if you wish to keep them.

Our lifetime purchase option grants you access to all premium features of NoteChat for as long as the app remains published and available on app stores. "Lifetime" refers to the lifetime of the product itself, not the lifetime of the user. If NoteChat is ever removed from app stores or ceases to be maintained, we reserve the right to discontinue services associated with lifetime purchases. Troubleshooting

App Crashing or Not Responding

  1. Force close the app and reopen it
  2. Restart your device
  3. Ensure your device's operating system is up to date
  4. Uninstall and reinstall the app (Note: this will delete all your notes unless you've exported them)
  5. If the issue persists, please contact our support team

Notes Not Saving

  1. Check if your device has sufficient storage space
  2. Ensure you have granted the app storage permissions
  3. Try creating a small test note to see if the issue persists
  4. Update the app to the latest version
  5. If none of these steps work, contact our support team
