By accessing or using ScrollSteps (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"), our Privacy Policy, and all applicable laws and regulations. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and ScrollSteps ("we," "us," or "our").
ScrollSteps is a mobile application designed to help users manage their app usage by linking access to certain applications to daily step goals tracked through Apple HealthKit. The App integrates with iOS Screen Time and Health features to provide this functionality.
The App also uses third-party services (RevenueCat for subscription management and MixPanel for analytics) to provide enhanced features and improve user experience. Only anonymous device identifiers are shared with these services.
The App is provided as a self-help wellness tool and is not a medical device or medical service.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use this App. If you are under 18, you must have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use the App on your personal iOS device solely for your personal, non-commercial use.

The App does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult with a qualified healthcare provider before starting any new exercise program or making health-related decisions.
Physical activity carries inherent risks. You assume all risks associated with using the App to motivate physical activity. We are not responsible for any injuries, health problems, or other consequences resulting from your physical activity.
If you experience chest pain, dizziness, severe shortness of breath, or any other concerning symptoms during physical activity, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
If you have any pre-existing medical conditions, consult your healthcare provider before using the App or increasing your physical activity level.
The App's functionality depends on iOS features (HealthKit, Screen Time) and your device's capabilities. We do not guarantee that the App will function perfectly at all times or on all devices.
While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that step counts or other data from HealthKit are completely accurate. The App relies on data provided by your device and Apple's APIs.
The App's ability to lock or restrict apps depends on iOS Screen Time features. Some system apps or features may not be lockable. We do not guarantee that the locking mechanism is foolproof.
The App does not and will not restrict access to emergency services, phone calls, or critical system functions.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

The App, including all content, features, functionality, designs, logos, text, graphics, and source code, is owned by ScrollSteps and is protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
ScrollSteps, the ScrollSteps logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of ScrollSteps. You may not use these without our prior written permission.
If you provide us with any feedback, suggestions, or ideas about the App, you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable, perpetual, royalty-free license to use and incorporate such feedback into the App without any obligation to you.
If you make in-app purchases or subscribe to premium features, you agree to pay all applicable fees. All purchases are processed through Apple's App Store and are subject to Apple's terms and conditions.
All purchases are final and non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in Apple's refund policy. Contact Apple for refund requests.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage subscriptions in your iOS Settings.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices at any time. Changes will not affect your current subscription period but will apply to renewals.
You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including but not limited to:
Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including but not limited to Sections 8, 9, 10, 11, and 14.
We may release updates, upgrades, or modifications to the App. We are not obligated to provide any updates, but if we do, these Terms will apply to all versions.
